Description

As we reflect on the protests in the US and around the world against racial injustice, we decided to hear from two people who are close to the issues from two different perspectives.

Hallie Mann is the former Executive Director of Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) and lives in Minneapolis, the epicentre of where the protests began after George Floyd died under the knee of a police officer on 25 May 2020.

Nick Gowen is a Partner at the law firm of Burke Warren in Chicago. As an African American, Nick has posted on LinkedIn about the pain he has borne over the incident and highlighting what it’s like being a black father to his two sons.

Nick and Hallie share their perspectives on the protests in the US on this special episode of the Territory Story podcast.
