2022 has given us a lot to celebrate in the world of cinema. Movie theaters had a great bounce back year with the help of Top Gun: Maverick, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and the latest release from James Cameron with Avatar: The Way of Water. We also had to say goodbye to some of the industry's most beloved icons, such as Sidney Poitier, Bob Saget, Olivia Newton-John, and Kirstie Alley but their work is done and will live with us forever.
