In Week 4, Avonworth barely beat South Side Beaver while Devin Whitlock rushed for a TD late in the fourth quarter as Belle Vernon defeated Thomas Jefferson. Pine-Richland even won their second straight game after starting the season 0-3 while Penn Hills went on the road and defeated Upper St. Clair.
