For this week’s episode of Be The Good with Kate Cherichello, I had the pleasure of speaking with someone across the world about the GOOD she is doing. Madhurima Sappatti sat down with me from her home in India, sharing her work as a soul coach helping people overcome and prevent burnout, her podcast The Soul’s Conquest, and what it has been like in India this past year and a half. Despite the many obvious terrible aspects of the pandemic, this time has given a lot of people an opportunity to step back and explore what their hearts were yearning to do, to be, to change. Madhurima recognized this in herself, but also found that helping others find their soul’s work is a calling. She talks with me about the power of thought, perspective, and the importance of taking a step back in order to progress.
She also flips the script on ME and gets me to answer a question!
Madhurima talks about the feeling of her brain being a rock in a can, jumbling around...and the beauty in how the rock calms down when you set down the can. Stepping back from the information and stress calms down the brain. Whether we are in India or the USA or anywhere else in the world, 2021 has brought a lot of stress. We talk about using resources, taking the time to process, and accountability.
I hope you find Madhurima’s words inspiring, educating, and useful to your week.
