Independence Day isn’t about barbecues or even fireworks. It is about remembering that a people of diverse backgrounds stood together to take back the inalienable rights given to them and every human being. With great cost these people, stood against the tide of Tyranny, not only for their generation, but for that of their posterity; in doing so lit the beacon of liberty for the entire world.
