Marc-Alexandre Chan is a queer musician who began playing the cello at the age of 7 and then learned to play the flute, guitar, ocarina and other instruments alongside continuing to play the cello. Although he professionally pursued engineering, he occasionally composes and performs vocal recitals to celebrate underrepresented composers.
