The regular programming on Telecom Station Alpha gets interrupted by a rogue radio show, where experts debate about the Cathar Crusades and the involvement, at their apex, of one mysterious Doctor. He and Ella have apparently blazed a trail through an extermination campaign conducted by the Catholic Church in 1100s France, protecting refugees cooped up in the fortress of Peyrepertuse and relentlessly tracked by fanatics, but what pushed the dynamic duo to meddle with time? And how will history judge their actions?
