At a lodging house in Ospringe, a housewife from the town of Bath, a Knight, and a Physician settle in, after a long and tiresome day’s travel along the road to Canterbury Cathedral. As they rest their weary bones, the Physician has a tale to tell. A tale of medieval fiction blurring into medieval history. A tale of corruption at the heart of Canterbury town, as the local Lord oppresses the peasantry in his search for an artifact that could tear the universe apart.
