This murder mystery film is based on the 1969 novel, “A Hallowe’en Party” by Agatha Christie is the 3rd film in the “Poirot” trilogy following 2022’s “Death on the Nile” & the 2017 film, “Murder on The Orient Express”. All 3 films star and are directed by Kenneth Branagh who plays the titular character, Belgian detective, “Hercule Poirot”. Also in this film is Tina Fey, Jaime Dornan, Kelly Reilly, Camille Cottin, Riccardo Scamarcio & Michelle Yeoh. This sees the Belgian detective enjoying retirement in Venice, when an old colleague informs him of a case in the same area revolving around the supernatural powers of a medium and a famed opera singer’s deceased daughter. This film came to fruition during the making of the previous film and was set have Branagh return to direct and star in it.
