This film was written & directed by Fede Alvarez, produced by Ridley Scott and is the 7th film in the “Alien” franchise. This film takes place between the events of the first 2 films in the franchise. In this film, a group of young colonizers search an abandoned ship for life pods to continue their journey but soon realize that this abandoned ship is not abandoned but overrun by creatures known as “Xenomorphs”. This film does not continue Ridley Scott’s prequel films but does revert back to the franchise’s original genre of gothic horror.
