This animated film is the fourth film in the series but the sixth film the overall franchise. It sees Steve Carrell and Kristen Wiig return to their respective roles while being joined by newcomers Will Farrell & Sofia Vergara. In this film, Gru and his family are being hunted by an old classmate of Gru, who will stop at nothing to seek revenge for his humiliation. This film hit theaters on July 3, 2024 and after a promising 4th of July weekend at the box office, it has already become the 15th highest grossing film franchise of all time.
