This new entry in to the “Evil Dead” series is the 5th overall film and was written and directed by Lee Cronin. The film stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols & Nell Fisher. A young woman visits her sister in a condemned LA apartment complex with her 3 children. The visit is rocked by an earthquake which causes both the discovery of secret compartment beneath the complex as well as the possession of one of the sisters. Now, the family must come together to stop the evil from within causing harm or forever lose their loved one. This film was scheduled as “Max” exclusive but New Line Cinema decided after the success it had at the South By Southwest Film Festival in March of 2023, that it should have a theatrical release which it had on April 21. It became available on the streaming service on June 23.
