After 2 successful movies, Steven Spielberg stepped away from the franchise but Universal wanted another sequel, so they brought in Joe Johnston to direct and Sam Neill returns as “Dr. Alan Grant” and is joined by newcomers William H. Macy and Tea Lioni for a third adventure.
