This Christmas horror was co-written and directed by Michael Dougherty and is based on the Austro-Bavarian folklore. The film stars Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner & Stefania LaVie Owen. In this film, a dysfunctional family spending the holidays together is terrorized by a dark entity who feasts on the negative energy during a joyous time. This film had small opening in late November of 2015 but hit theaters nationwide on December 4th, which is coincidentally the day before “Krampusnacht”, an Eastern European day when the dark being is said to be walking the streets looking for the children on the “naughty list”.
