This film is a reboot of the 90s series and was directed by Dean Israelite. The film stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G & Ludi Lin as the titular characters while Elizabeth Banks, Bill Hader & Bryan Cranston play other characters from the series. The film centers around 5 teenagers in the small town of Angel Grove who find mysterious coins in old mine. These coins are powerful relics of a team of heroes that thought to have died long ago but the coins have chosen these teenagers to protect the world by granted powers beyond their wildest dreams. While the movie underperformed at the box office, it still garnered a following from fans of the original series and is available now on Prime Video.
