Based on Stephen King’s short story of the same name, this film was directed by Rob Savage and stars Sophia Thatcher, Chris Messina & Vivian Lyra Blair. The film centers around a therapist and his 2 daughters who are struggling with the sudden and unexpected death of their mother and wife, but things take a dark and mysterious turn when an evil entity latches on to them and feeds off their grief and fear. This film was originally supposed to be a Hulu exclusive but after positive test screenings, it hit theaters in early 2023 before its digital release in October.
