This film was co written and directed by Paul King, is based on the 1962 novel, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl and is the 3 film to center around the character of “Willy Wonka” following the 1971 film and its 2005 remake. The film stars Timothy Chalamet, Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key & Hugh Grant. In this film, a young man moves to a popular city to sell chocolate and star his own factory but when a mysterious cartel seeks to steal his ideas , he must find a way to protect himself and his newfound friends. This film hit theaters in December of 2023 before landing on Max in March of 2024.
