Description

“The Gulbenkian can be a wise example of the future as coexistence with the Earth and us.” (Kengo Kuma)

This episode will be in English. We will have a conversation with the architect Kengo Kuma about the expansion of the Gulbenkian Garden and the refurbishment and extension of the Modern Art Center.

The architect Rita Topa also joins us in this conversation and reveals what she learned about Japanese architecture while working with Kengo Kuma in this project.

In this conversation, we sought to explore the mission of architecture and the role of the architect, as well as their processes, and work references.
