Not all stories end with "and they lived happily ever after." The stores of Asa and his son, Jehoshaphat, kings of Judah had some bumps along the way, generally caused by their own poor choices. The hills and valleys of their stories make it easier for us to relate and also, hopefully easier for us to learn from.
