He saw that they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and waves. About three o'clock in the morning he came to them, walking on the water.
I highlighted two words when I read this chapter: “He saw.”
He saw they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and the waves.
He still sees.
He still searches.
He still sees the struggle, even at 3am.
Our good Shepherd still keeps watch over His sheep, and if one strays, He searches until He finds them and brings them home.
