Hebrews 4:15-16
For we have not an high priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Charles Spurgeon wrote:
Many men can be touched by the sorrow of another,
but they are not touched with that sorrow.
It is one thing to see pain but another thing to be touched with the feeling of it.
We must treasure this view
of our Lord’s sympathy,
for it may be a great support in the hour of agony and weakness.
I will read to you from:
Luke 10:25-37
Psalm 62:8
