Luke Carter is a Pittsburgh-based Indie Filmmaker, who specializes in VFX-Heavy Productions and has done VFX work for a number of successful local productions. He also produces his own content, usually comedy sketches, animations, and short films, which can be found on his YouTube Channel, Carter Asylum Studios. “Versus Mode” was born of a desire to marry Luke's VFX expertise and a comedy/drama script into a feature that dabbled in all the genres. What began as a college capstone project, has now evolved into a fully Pittsburgh-produced feature film that's a little comedy, a little drama, a little sci-fi, a little fantasy, and a little horror all in one. “Versus Mode” (Versus Mode - Feature Film) finished Principal Photography in 2019, but hit a bit of a speed-bump in 2020, due in large part to the pandemic. But now they're back at it for one more round of crowdfunding to acquire finishing funds in order to complete post-production, and deliver the most professional final product possible.
