Description

Ben Haggerty spent a summer at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn when he was 17. He spent most of that time bouncing around thrift shops, buying tartans and dressing up as a character he called “Professor Macklemore”. He eventually dropped the “Professor”, became a Grammy award-winning rapper, and somewhere along the way started playing golf. Now he’s focusing his energy on finishing an album, getting his handicap to single digits, and building his golf clothing company, Bogey Boys. Ben dropped by the Group Golf Therapy couch to talk about what golf has taught him about himself, addiction and recovery, fear, fulfillment, death, and Young Thug.
