Description

Akbar Chisti and his wife, Megan, started Seamus Golf 11 years ago — they were one of the first in a slew of small makers in the golf space who have since helped define the look and feel of "new golf". The son of Pakistani immigrants, Akbar learned golf in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, while skipping Sunday school at his local mosque. He would eventually join the caddie ranks at Bandon Dunes quickly after the now-mega-resort opened in 2001, and now balances his business with coaching his daughter's volleyball team. Akbar is a joy.
