Description

Voting at the local level for the constituents in your jurisdiction is just as important as voting for the presidential election.

To close out season 3, He Said, He Said, He Said Live welcomes the nation’s capital At-Large Councilmember Robert White, Jr for an up-close and candid discussion about the important issues that affect Washingtonians such as public safety, the future of our economy, housing, and education.

Councilmember White graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC and attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland, earning degrees in Philosophy and
Political Science. He completed additional studies at Oxford University in England and in The Gambia, West Africa. Robert earned his law degree from the
American University Washington College of Law.

In 2008, Robert went to the United States Congress to serve as Legislative Counsel to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. He served as a lead staff member on congressional oversight hearings focused on the District and played a key role in drafting legislation to loosen Congress’ grip over DC government in favor of greater autonomy and independence for DC residents. In 2014, Robert was tapped by Attorney General Karl A. Racine to serve as the first Director of Community Outreach for the DC Office of the Attorney General.

On June 4, 2024, Robert White overwhelmingly won the primary and is highly expected to win in the upcoming November 2024 DC general election.
