The law of the Old Testament was a heavy burden, the burden wasn’t designed for us to carry, it acted like a scale, it weighs us and shows us our limits, it reveals our weakness and how we can do nothing aside from Jesus. The burden was heavy, too heavy that no one could come close to living up to it’s standard.
Then Jesus happened.
