Regardless of how busy or boring your life might be, we all try to be productive in what we do. In our jobs, in our homes, in our churches, and in our communities, we want to be known as people who are active, involved, and committed. But is all that activity equal to productive? Just because we have a lot to do doesn't mean we are getting a lot done! Jesus shows the disciples the difference between having the appearance of life verses having fruit as a result of a productive life.
