One of my best friends, Amanda Shuchat, joins the Day 1 Podcast to share her three year fertility journey to her baby boy, Oliver.
This is a special episode because it captures an authentic conversation between two friends who have supported each other through years of fertility treatment. We have cried over disappointing results, celebrated IVF wins, laughed because of hormonal breakdowns and have spent countless hours talking through different outcomes and options after each major milestone.
In this episode Amanda shares her journey to motherhood and how simultaneously she juggled growing her business. She shares tips on what to wear when visiting the clinic - exceptionally valuable information IMO, how she has grown from this experience, what daily rituals helped her get through each day and how she wrapped her head around unexpected decisions.
Amanda lives in Toronto and is the Managing Director of one of Canada's top PR agencies, The Colony Project. Together with her husband, they have a beautiful one and a half year old son, Oliver, and are happily expecting a baby girl in October 2021.
