In our longest ep to date, we present "Natural Wines" There is a new word in wine to cover a new category in wine. Natural. To say this word is divisive is an understatement but it really is innocuous and just a marketing term to help these producers find a space in the wine world. And they are delicious but you have to try them for yourself since they aren’t like what you normally drink. There is an equivalent to the pushback. It would be if the majority of restaurants were angry because another restaurant said they were Farm To Table. It is just a tagline to say we buy from local farmers. Same for “Natural” which means they add nothing to the wines they produce. They farm either organically or biodynamically and when they crush the grapes they add nothing at all. No cultured yeasts and no sulfites. They allow the wine to take its time to ferment and then they bottle. Pretty simple. Go find some Natural wine and try it. #ETDT #winelovers #naturalwines
