David realises how much a show can age in 10 years when he watches "The Curse of Clyde Langer".

After reading a special edition of Doctor Who magazine it turns out the fish were real! They used a mixture of props and real fish, "with care taken in their handling." Also, when Sarah Jane brandished her sonic at Clyde she was going to threaten to overheat his phone but the line was cut.
