David doesn't want it to end when he watches the final televised episode "The Man Who Never Was".
Things of note:
After searching up some information about the Skullions, I discovered Gareth Roberts is a transphobe. How fun! It's scary how much of that rears its head when you scratch beneath the surface, thankfully none of it seemed to seep into the episodes. Regarding the episode itself, it seems scarily final that we see Sarah Jane's sonic lipstick taken from her and do not get a scene of her replacing it. While she's replaced sonic lipsticks before, it's funny that they didn't need to come up with a way of replacing it this time as there were no more episodes. Similarly with the adult joke, while we have had one before, it does seem like a way of going out with more of a bang and stretching the boundaries of what would otherwise be censored as it was the finale. And yet, this wasn't planned to be the final episode at all. How odd.
