Hi, I'm Beverley Joy of Simply Story Poetry. I wrote this Christian poem after returning from a short mission trip to Bangladesh where I played a small role in the first year of a Bible translation project. I also taught the students some oldie but goodies Christian choruses like ‘This is the day that the Lord has made’. We had lots of laughs as we helped each other learn the songs in each other's language. During the morning sun service it was heavenly singing the same hymns together; they in their language and we in English. Now, years later, the students have translates several books of the Bible into each of their mother tongues.
