I speak to ADALBERTO ACEVEDO, who I worked with almost 15 years ago when he started his theatre company, THE ALLIANCE THEATRE LAB. We start talking about his beginnings in South Florida theatre and how working with a ensemble inspired him to start The Alliance. We also talk about the ups and downs of being a small theatre company as well as the high profile The Alliance received when they took a specific production to the Arsht Center in Miami. On a personal note, I also ask about what happened to have him close the Alliance. Due to technical difficulties, we had to make a Part 2 of this interview....
Part 2 picks up in where we take the opportunity to clarify a few things from the 1st part (for more of that, please listen to Part 1). We also continue on the path on how The Alliance Theatre Lab stopped production. Albert and I also discuss a certain incident in South Florida theatre and how we are still speaking on it to this day. We also speak about his new venture into cooking and making recipes. For more about that, visit YouTube and find Albert's Easy Gourmet Kitchen or go to albertseasygourmetkitchen.com.
