Do you remember when you were a child and your parents would tell you that you could be anything you wanted to be, you just had to put in the work? Most children would say they wanted to be a policeman, an astronaut, a singer, or even a brain surgeon. The guest in this episode took that parental guidance to heart and did in fact become a surgeon… a neurosurgeon. Raised in Lockport, Lindsay Mayet, now Dr. Lindsay Lasseigne, has taken her talents home and is one of two neurosurgeons at Thibodaux Regional Health Systems.
