For it's ten year anniversary I decided to go back and look at a subversive horror that I absolutely love, which is Cabin in the Woods. Despite only seeing it a handful of times, and it being almost impossible to turn into a huge franchise, I genuinely think that this deserves to be a classic of the genre, as it is an unashamed love letter to Horror.
Plenty of spoiler discussion in this one, which is unavoidable really to truly discuss it, so I recommend watching the film first.
