#BeardSpeaks | After tonight's news that President Trump had authorized the launch of 59 Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missiles against millitary targets in Syria, I decided to speak on some of my experience as a 10 year Navy Veteran and decorated Tomahawk Weapon's System launch controller. I hope all those out there understand the burden and stress that governmental decisions place on our Men and Women in Uniform. Contains mostly technical informational, but its a technical task. I tried not to bore or make you feel bad, but to me shooting TLAMS was nothing more than a job, a paycheck. The detachment is real and the consequences of our actions largely go unseen by us, the triggermen. I hope this can show you that the dozen or so guys who carried out the missions against Syria are just regular guys, guys that do not deserve, warrant or desire your hatred. #Salute to all my elite shipmates at the Tip Of The Spear.
