On August 31, 2021, we celebrated the legacy of Club MTV by throwing an all-night TWITCH Live Stream party in honor of the classic dance show premiering on that same day in 1987. The nearly 8-hour long festivities included DJ sets from DJ Greg Corner, DJ Bizzon, and DJ Gemineye, plus video cameos from dancers Camille & Tracy, stylist Montgomery Frazier and iconic VJ Downtown Julie Brown all reflecting on their time on Club MTV. In episode 13 of The Hottest Party On TV podcast, Jeromme Graham, Greg Corner and Club MTV dancer Janel Scarborough hopped on Zoom to talk about how the Club MTV TWITCH celebration came to be, the planning involved, Greg Corner's Club MTV parties that he throws in Chicago and so much more.
