I re-read Isaiah 43.18-19 this morning and smiled as I thought of old prophet Dick Mills. Forty years ago, this great man prophesied over me with words from Isaiah. I’ve made many transitions since that time, some of them difficult, but I always knew God would “do something new.” I did not need to “ponder things of the past.” I could always hold my head high and walk confidently on “a roadway in the wilderness” and drink life-giving water from “rivers in the desert.”
