loved standing near by, he said to her, ‘Woman, here is your
son,’ 27 and to the disciple, ‘Here is your mother.’ From that time

Jesus welcomes all who follow him to be part of God's family.
People in church who show care and interest in others make a difference.
The church family can have arguments and divisions, but we are part of an amazing family of God.
Jesus entrusted his mother to John to care for her and play his part in the family of God.
We give thanks for mothers, physical or adoptive, as well as fathers who may play a maternal role.
Men and women can share the role of being a mother to their children.
We give thanks for brothers and sisters in the family of God, as well as children and those who have cared for us.
Mothering Sunday can be an emotional day with many different emotions.
