While there are many players deserving of the honor only one can take home the trophy. Steph Curry was remarkable all season long. He led the league in scoring and had the most 40 point games in the NBA. Chris Paul led the Phoenix Suns back to the playoffs for the first time since 2009-2010 season, and help the suns clinch the #2 seed. Joel Embiid showed his offensive repertoire, and gave the defense fits all season. He helped the Philadelphia 76ers clinch the #1 seed in a top heavy Eastern Conference. Above all else, Nikola Jokic propelled the Denver Nuggets to the #3 seed in a loaded Western Conference without star teammate Jamal Murray, who tore his ACL.
