Faith and results are built by relationship. If we know God, we can know what He will do. The way to know God is by reading His word. We often make petitionary prayer about us, not about others or about God. When we season our faith with knowledge of God, we will no longer want what God doesn't want; and we will no longer have the desire to ask for something pointless just to put God to the test.
