A conversation on play with Martin Dara and Thomas Leamy.
Guest Bio: Martin Dara is a teacher and a transformational coach. He transitioned from a lucrative career in finance in corporate America and retrained as a transformative coach. Along the way, he realized a few home truths too and moved from his comfortable base in New York to a city and country that were virtually unknown to him – Bangkok in Thailand. There, he took up a position as a teacher, and now, a few years later, the classrooms of America are benefitting from his kindness and wisdom back in New York, where he teaches and coaches. Martin is a sporting fanatic, and a passionate basketballer, and believes that losing our sense of PLAY is optional in life, not compulsory. He now works with everyone from children to adults and teams – and he helps them realize what’s most important to them AND what’s in the way of a fulfilling, enjoyable, and less serious experience of life.
