I recently traveled via airplane and flew Southwest using their Customer of Size policy. Basically you get an extra seat for free, and you can pre-board and reserve the extra seat so nobody squishes up against you and looks at you mean because you're fat the whole time. This policy is AWESOME. But I was really nervous since I had never used it before. What did I do to calm my fears? I asked for a script.
Scripting is something common to autistic folks -- we love an example of what to say when it comes to stuff we've never done before. And it's actually a LOT like practicing intentional thoughts and beliefs, using affirmations, etc. Listen in to blow your mind.
I mentioned a book in this episode, Writer for Hire: 101 Secrets to Freelance Success by Kelly James-Enger. (If the link isn't working: https://www.amazon.com/Writer-Hire-Secrets-Freelance-Success/dp/1599635496)
Also don't miss out on my email list, where I talk about how to have the absolute audacity to show up for your full authentic self. Get on the list at bit.ly/CaitNotes.
