RadioRotary brings to the air two members of the Greater Newburgh Rotary Club, President Elect, Arlette Murrain, and President Andrew Ciccone; they tell listeners about their club’s exciting awards program on March 31, 2021,which will celebrate International Women’s Day and International Women’s History Month. Members of the Newburgh and Orange County communities will be honored for community service, contributions to education and health care, and other humanitarian service. At the same ceremony five who made significant community contributions in the past will be commemorated. Among the honorees from the past will be Bunny Webb, who was the first woman president of Rotary District 7210. The honorees active today include Hyun Chin Kim, Orange County Judge, Karen Mejia, Newburgh Councilwoman, Joan Cusack-McGuirk, CEO Montefiore St Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Mary McTamaney, Newburgh Historian, and Ruth Smith, Community Service.
