On this Friday Eyeday, I’m joined by Tom Cawley, who has been sight impaired since birth with the condition aniridia. We discuss light sensitivity, attitudes towards him at school and the process of getting to specialist college and what he studied. Alongside studying he also played VI football, which he had been doing in London previously with sessions provided by Arsenal football club. The conversation also includes his experiences of volunteering and working at museums, so give this one a listen with your eyes.
Thank you to Erin Boyce, Ieuan Sparey, Tim Giebel, Mariel, Laili and Georgia-may Felton.
