Description

My guest on this episode is Megan, who has had a level of sight impairment since birth. This is a result of inherited aniridia and severe glaucoma. Despite her impairment, she doesn’t like taking it slow. We talk about what it was like to be the most sighted in her household, the benefits of being brought up in a visually impaired family, including growing up with guide dogs. Other topics involve how Megan dealt with her vision deteriorating, the number of eye operations she has had and her five year wait for her first and current guide dog Daisy. Discussions also turn to Megan’s time in Falmouth studying creative event management, her time at the Royal National College for the Blimd in Hereford and an upcoming arrival. Enjoy the thirtieth episode.
