Hello everyone I’m Dave Slomka founding and lead pastor of LifeNorth.Church and the “I Believe in You” podcast.
I’m so glad you are here.
I believe that every day we can be inspired, we can live with intention and purpose and joy, embracing the opportunities of each day and pushing ourselves to grow and to serve and to lead God honouring lives.
I believe that you can grow and that’s why I started the “I believe in You” podcast.
We all need help to grow and change. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ then the Holy Spirit helps to lead, guide and empower us to change. But God also tells us to learn from other people, to be connected in community and to know the truth, especially as God gives it to us in His word.
Simply put what I have learned is that I need expert guidance, an inspiring community, and Life-changing information.
We live in a time and place where we have access to so much information. But there isn’t always time to find what you are looking for or what you need to make a change and grow. So every week I want to share with you some of the best and most helpful content that I’ve come across to help me grow and change. Resources from podcasts, books, articles and teaching.
In the show notes there are links and information so that if you decide that you want to dig deeper into that topic or teaching you know where to go. I also plan to do this across a wide range of topics because we need to grow in every area of life. We need to grow in our goals, in our relationships, in our spirituality and connection with God, in our physical health, in our self-awareness and even in areas of inspiration.
I want this to be a place where you can find expect guidance from the sources I’ve been learning from and also a community of people like yourself who want to grow and change. So let me be your encourager, life can be better, you can change, and that our best days are still ahead of you.
