I think I'm starting to figure this whole thing out, and while I still can't believe that I talked for an hour and a half about a single episode (and still didn't fit in everything I intended to talk about), there was an awful lot of baseline character stuff I wanted to squeeze in here. I think I got all the important stuff I hope folks will keep in mind as we progress through the series, as we watch Sam and Dean grow into their full potential.
