Confidence takes commitment. It’s easy to be safe and fall back on the things we know. It can be uncomfortable to ask for help, or to try and fail.
As a leader, if you are holding back or sidelining yourself, what does that say to your team? When we put ourselves in the game, we show our teams that learning is positive and failure is a part of growth. If you have the confidence to step in even when it makes you uncomfortable, you’ll find your team, in turn, will be more creative and willing to grow.
