In this episode, I discuss sex education at large and what the experience of having an IUD is with my amazing friend and mentor, Shayne Judge.
Shayne and I worked together at HOPE as sexual health advocates. Shayne has worked for Hackensack Meridian Health carrier clinic as a mental health technician and at RWJ for PROUD. Most recently, Shayne has accepted a job at Planned Parenthood as a sex educator.
Shayne is amazing and so open about her experience getting the Copper IUD. She helps clarify all the myths about how painful and scary the IUD is and helps to clear up a lot of common misconceptions about sex education and birth control in general.
